Housing & households
Housing and development period
2021 Census — historical neighbourhood context
The City's profile records 9,435 people in private households in 2021. In the housing-tenure table, 83% of households owned and 17% rented.
Of occupied private dwellings, 49% were built in 2001–2010 and 41% in 2011–2015. These rounded census figures describe Aspen Woods as a whole, not Aspen Cliff membership or current market inventory.
Development history
Aspen Cliff's original development documents
2007–2008 documents
The original design guide dates to May 2007, followed by the 2008 covenant and encumbrance. It describes a traditional architectural direction including Craftsman, French Country and Tudor homes.
Those documents explain the development's original design framework. They do not establish current approval contacts, a complete neighbourhood history or the rules for other Aspen developments.
Parks & recreation
SCA recreation is a separate system
SCA serves Strathcona, Christie and Aspen with local programs, events and facility rentals. Its membership page links seasonal tennis and rink amenities to community membership.
Confirm registration and any activity-specific charges directly. An Aspen Cliff HOA receipt does not establish an SCA booking or membership.

West Springs
West Springs includes West Springs Farm, Springside and Wentworth associations with distinct fees, payment periods and maintenance responsibilities. Compare the organization named on the property title with its invoice. None of these development profiles establishes one uniform obligation across the entire neighbourhood.

Calgary
Springbank Hill
Springbank Hill has a smaller title-linked maintenance association and a separate community association serving the wider neighbourhood. A municipal community boundary does not identify which home pays which organization. Springborough has a separate residents association with its own fee classes. The Slopes separately manages private infrastructure and monthly charges. Other developments within the neighbourhood require their own review.

Discovery Ridge
Southwest Calgary community served by the New Discovery Homeowners' Association (NDHA) and, separately, by the Discovery Ridge Community Association.
