A southeast Airdrie community with varied housing, a completed pump track and community gardens. Title-linked HOA dues support enhanced maintenance; garden registration, neighbouring recreation and phase design controls need separate checks.

Housing & households
Townhomes, duplexes and detached-home formats
Melcor markets townhomes, duplexes, laned homes, front-drive homes and Green Street options in Lanark Landing. These are housing formats, not a determination of whether an individual property is condominium or fee-simple ownership.
Match the home to its phase documents and title. Review any condominium budget alongside the HOA assessment; a townhome label alone does not identify which organization maintains the building, yard or access routes.
Development history
The pump track and gardens reached a 2023 milestone
2023 opening celebration; developer status checked September 2026
The developer's Blossoms & Bikes Event 2023 announcement invited residents to a September 16 grand opening celebrating the completed pump track, community gardens and orchards. That dated milestone helps resolve the older concept label still visible on the HOA website.
The developer's current amenity page continues to identify the pump track as open. The event establishes an advertised completion milestone, not the first operating day or an uninterrupted operating schedule.
Parks & recreation
Garden plots and public orchard fruit work differently
The City identifies the Airdrie Horticultural Society as the manager of Lanark Community Garden, with 58 round raised planters and 14 rectangular or oblong planters. Contact the society about obtaining a plot; an HOA payment does not establish an allocation, current availability or garden-program price.
Lanark is also listed among Airdrie's community orchards. The City maintains these orchards and welcomes public fruit picking, asking visitors to take only what they will use. Public orchard access is different from reserving a garden planter.
Parks & recreation
Pond paths and a neighbouring rink
The developer describes a landscaped storm pond with seating, pergolas and connections to multi-use trails. It is not evidence of a swimming lake or boating entitlement.
The outdoor rink promoted with Lanark's amenities is in neighbouring King's Heights. Keep its operating conditions separate from Lanark HOA dues. The pump track is a cycling feature; current use rules and seasonal conditions should be checked before visiting.
Getting around
Road access through the 40 Avenue interchange
The developer identifies the open 40 Avenue/Highway 2 interchange and the extension toward Range Road 292 as connections serving southeast Airdrie. Its location page also places Lanark beside King's Heights and Ravenswood.
Use the exact address and current conditions when planning travel. Advertised driving times and walkability claims are not verified commute times for every home.
